About Tim

Photographer, Tim Rich, born and raised in Connecticut, was introduced to the arts by his parents, both avid art collectors. Rich's interest in photography began at a young age, as he received his first camera at age 13. From the start Tim's natural born talent was evident, as he garnered numerous national awards for his photography throughout high school. Rich continued his photography education in Providence, Rhode Island, where he developed his critical eye for composition and lighting. His successful academic pursuits led to his move to New York City to persue a career in photography. Tim's distinct style of photography has been sought after by an array of clients, including Arrow, Brooks Brothers, Cinsia Rocca, Geoffery Beene, Joseph Abboud, Joseph Banks, Journey Diamonds, L'Oreal, London Fog, Lord and Taylor, The Mall at Short Hills, South Coast Plaza, and Phillips - Van Heusen among others.  His images have appeared in the pages of American Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Essence, In Style, and Men's Health.  Tim approaches each assignment in a unique way, with an emphasis toward story telling. Creative directors have described his work as narrative and cinematic.
